New Initiatives:
Redefining Classical Music Through Digital Futures

Music in the Barns in partnership with the Canada Council for the Arts is exploring strategies for making music pedagogy more accessible with the development and early testing of a prototype digital musical instrument designed for creating and learning music at home and in the digital space.

The first phase of the project will gather perspectives from various communities in order to explore barriers to participation due to cultural differences and traditional ways the art form is presented and taught.
